What's in a name?

Aptly named the Sunshine Coast, the area enjoys a mild climate and basks in a healthy dose of sun throughout the year. Summer is warm and though highs sometimes reach 30°C, they are normally tempered by cool sea breezes. Both spring and autumn can be warm as well, with highs reaching 25°C. Winter is characteristically mild and moist, and snowfall is rare; average winter temperatures dip down to a comfortable 7°C.
